Wagga Wagga’s The Nightshift band Brings Big Sound to
Griffith on June 5

Stave off the winter chill with a fun night of big tunes from one of
Wagga’s hottest bands, The Night Shift, for First Friday Live at the
Griffith Regional Theatre’s Burley Griffin Room on Friday June 5,
2015.

The popular Wagga outfit is bringing its five-member version to
Griffith - vocals, drums, bass, trumpet and keyboards - with the
promise the sound will be just as big if not bigger than the usual
nine-piece lineup.

Night Shift’s quintet line-up includes founder Adam Corning, bass
player and vocals, vocalist Cathy Wall, Joel Penaluna on drums,
keyboardist Dave Wall and trumpeter Justin Kennedy.
First Friday Live founder Livio Mazzon said he was delighted to
secure a band like Night Shift, which has built a huge fan following
for its energetic and happy tunes and ability to get people on the
dance floor fast.

“It’s also great to be able to introduce an Aussie band that lives
‘around the corner’ to our Griffith audiences and we have no doubt
they will become immediate fans, too, after seeing the Night Shift
magic,” Livio said.

Don’t miss your chance to party the night away with Night Shift at
First Friday Live on June 5. The event starts at 7pm.

First Friday Live is held on the first Friday of every month and features performances by local musicians as well as guest artists from Australia and overseas.  The May concert will be held at Bar One88, 188 Banna Avenue Griffith on Friday 1st of May starting at 7:30pm. The entry fee
