Dan jazzes things up!
Sax sensation Dan Bray will be centre stage for a night of jazz on Friday, October 4, at 188 Banna Avenue.
Backed by house band ‘Metro’, Dan will bring a wealth of musical experience to the stage.
Now based in Canberra, the former local has enjoyed a lifelong love of music across a range of styles.
He’s in demand as a feature musician having played for Pearl Noir on her latest album ‘Ain’t All Blues’ as well as dance/nu disco artist Magnifik on their album ‘Amateur’.
As a member of the band Casual Projects, Dan has played alongside several big names including Arrested Development, Blue King Brown, Alex Lloyd, Bluejuice and Little Birdy to name a few.
Dan studied jazz saxophone at the Canberra Conservatorium of Music. Since graduating he has performed with Mitierra, Australia’s leading Latin band, and the Canberra Jazz Orchestra.
First Friday Live is your chance to see Dan perform live with a little help from his ‘Metro’ friends.
The music starts at 7.30pm on Friday, October 4. Don’t forget to book your table and enjoy a night of jazz for the low, low cover charge of just $15 per person.
See you there!
