There are a number of ways to keep up-to-date with our upcoming concerts.

Can I pre-purchase tickets, or book a table?

Currently we pre-sell tickets via Eventbrite.com Otherwise, tickets are sold on the night at the door of the venue. It's a first-come, first-served system. If you want to book a table, this can be done directly with the venue. As we can change venues from month to month, please verify the correct venue for the concert you wish to attend.


 

Do you have any affiliations?

FFL does not have any affiliations with any venues. FFL does accept sponsorship monies from businesses and individuals, who in return receive free access to concerts, marketing at FFL events and media releases, and credit for their contributions.

FFL does have a house band, "metro" (www.metro.au.com) who provide backing music for visiting feature artists, and sometimes they are the feature!. However, the house band role is not restricted to any particular group, and any suitably qualified musicians may take on this role.

The most common venue used by FFL is currently Bar One88 in Griffith - although this can change from month to month depending on the nature of the concert, and availability of the venue. Venues interested in hosting the event are welcomed to contact us.


 

Can I join the committee?

Yes, we welcome any like-minded, interested persons to join our committee and help us organise the regular FFL concerts. Like any community initiative, many hands make for light work, and we are always keen for assistance from willing individuals.

We have a meeting once per month, and this focuses around organising and co-ordinating the upcoming concerts. Committee members enjoy free entry to the concerts, plus the satisfaction of directly contributing to this community event.

What is the cover-charge used for?

All FFL concerts have a cover charge for patrons who wish to attend and enjoy the music. This money goes towards the musicians who are performing on the night, the door person selling the tickets, plus any excess goes towards booking future acts for FFL.

We try to fund all other expenses through sponsorships.

Members of the FFL Committee provide their services as volunteers, and do not receive any of the monies from the FFL Initiative for their committee work.
